One of the best guided tours we have ever had!

This was one of the best guided tours we have ever had, so much fun and perfectly timend and organized! Steve is a fantastic guide who made this trip so much fun and shared a ton of great knowledge about Te Anau, Fjordland and New Zealand in general. We enjoyed every minute and would recommend this to everyone passing by in Te Anau.

Spectacular experience, personalised experience, worth going with Cheeky Kiwi Travel!

It felt like a personalised tour, with only 15 of us, our driver Steve was amazing and so knowledgeable, and the lunch provided was delicious! As someone with dietary restrictions, I particularly appreciated the “can do” approach to providing a special lunch. Steve made the transition to the small boat cruise seamless. It was a great advantage having a tour guide who lived in the area and had local knowledge.

Fantastic tour - not to be missed.

A most wonderful experience from start to finish. The tour bus driver stopped regularly along the route, gave us lots of information and told us about the vegetation and wildlife. From tea tree, to Manuka honey to wild berries and Bird life. The boat and its skipper gave us the full Kiwi, Milford Sound experience for which we were very grateful.

Wonderful!

An amazing trip in all aspects! A great pick up location, excellent communication with the company at all times, a tasty lunch and a fabulous experience. The scenery is spectacular but what made it extra special was our guide Jeremy. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the areas, the plants and birds and made an extra effort to try to cater to the interests of the group. Very friendly and fun too. The cruise was great, and we were extremely lucky to see some dolphins and seals as well as the waterfalls and beautiful fjords. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Wonderful trip to the sound!

This was a beautifully organized tour of Milford Sound from Te Anau. Steve who was our guide and driver arrived promptly at our stop, and also picked up the rest of the group. He was incredibly knowledgeable not just of the local area but was able to give us a ton of great information about New Zealand- the economy, the politics and places that are “must sees”. He was incredibly courteous, supplied us with water and healthy snacks, stopped at every place that was on the itinerary and explained the significance.. he also got us to the ferry not just on time but ensured we got in and met us back again at the wharf. It was pouring with rain in the morning but miraculously the skies cleared up and we have an unforgettable cruise of the sound! The tour company also provided us with a lovely vegetarian lunch. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Milford Sound!

Wow what a tour

What an excellent tour to Milford Sound through absolutely stunning countryside. Our guide Steve was amazing, answered all questions and was so informative about the area. The packed lunch was delicious and we were really lucky to see dolphins in the Sound. Altogether a brilliant day out and highly recommended.

Great day out

Our guide was excellent - full of amazing facts and was super helpful. The boat was not too large which made it better for taking photos and seeing all the scenery. Milford sound is spectacular not matter what the weather.

Fantastic Tour

Fantastic and informative tour. Jeremy was a knowledgeable, caring and friendly guide that was very organised with time and stops along the way. Rain stayed away for most of the day, great group and wonderful quality picnic lunch pack. Great scenery and cruise was spectacular and Captain ensured plenty of time for photos.
